With Sandy’s 30-year international career with Polysar, Bayer, and later as President and Managing Director of Lanxess Canada, he is a recognized leader committed to Corporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Sustainability. He also brings proven senior executive expertise in general operations management, R&D scale-up, and strategic planning. Sandy earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Applied Science in Chemical Engineering from University of Waterloo.
Philip W. (Phil) Fatula’s career spans more than two decades in the global ion exchange business. His accomplishments include holding three patents for specialty ion exchange applications, and over 30 papers related to the ion exchange industry. Phil has highly respected expertise in selective ion exchange applications in the mining and brine purification areas. Phil also discovered an interest in the marketing and sales side of the business, launching Bayer’s packed bed counter-current technology in North America. He spent the latter years of his successful career as the Marketing Manager for U.S. and Canada at Lanxess Inc, the North American arm of Lanxess GmbH (formerly Bayer Chemicals). Phil is a chemist by training, with a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Geneva College
